Assist in the development of directives and the design, development, documentation, andimplementation of various reporting systems. HUD's Multifamily programs provide mortgage insurance to HUD-approved lenders to facilitate the construction, substantial rehabilitation, purchase and refinancing of multifamily housing projects. MFH is widely responsible forproduction,asset management and portfolio oversight, and recapitalization of assisted properties, and field operations. As part of the National Housing Act of 1934, Congress created the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) which later became a part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of Housing in 1965.The official duty station for this position will be in Jacksonville, FL. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.QualificationsYou must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.For the GS-09: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Analyzing data for studies or evaluations of programs and operations and making recommendations; AND - Coordinating activities that involve multiple managers, employees, or offices; AND - Creating various types of reports for management.OR A Master's or equivalent graduate degree; or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.B. or J.D., if relatedOR You may qualify on a combination of education and experience. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.For the GS-07: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes: - Collecting and researching data for studies or evaluations of programs and operations; AND - Assisting in coordinating activities that involve multiple managers, employees, or offices; AND - Assisting in the review of reports to make sure they meet standards of timeliness and accuracy.OR One full year of graduate level education; or Superior Academic Achievement based on a Bachelors degree that is demonstrated through class standing (upper 1/3 of class); grade point average (3.0/4.0 overall or 3.5/4.0 in major), or election to membership in a qualifying national scholastic honor society.OR You may qualify on a combination of education and experience. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent.EducationAdditional Information
