In this role, you will be a member of the APN Quality Assurance and Ames Site’s Leadership Teams. You will have a high level of interaction with highly dynamic cross functional, regional and global teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Research & Development.Formula for Success

Leveraging your education in Chemistry, Microbiology or a similar field of study and your experience, leadership and knowledge in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within a manufacturing setting and multi-functional teams, you will manage and lead Quality Assurance related activities at the Agricultural Solution North America (APN) manufacturing site in Ames, Iowa.

Your experience of analytical testing of agricultural products such as colorants or bio-fungicides will be a valued asset as you lead the site’s Quality Control team.

Collaborating with diverse colleagues, you will lead and/or support contamination risk assessments, training sessions and internal auditing systems.

Your working knowledge in development, implementation and maintenance of Quality (ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma principles) systems and related certifications will be critical to your success in this role.

Your commitment to a safe work environment will be essential as you will be proactive in creating and maintaining a Zero Incident mindset.

Successfully engaging across and outside the organization, you will frequently interact with regional and global colleagues, external service providers and business partners to develop, implement and maintain sustainable Quality Assurance systems for the site.

Your strong leadership ability will be invaluable as you lead and develop direct and indirect reports in meeting site objectives in the areas of Safety, Quality and Customer Satisfaction while fostering an Interdependent Quality Culture.

Demonstrating your vast experience in Quality Assurance, your team will ensure the accuracy of the laboratory data generated, provide troubleshooting support and successfully implement sustainable systems related to new and existing processes.

Using your demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, you will lead and/or support others in effective nonconformance investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customers’ needs.
