Electronics Solder and Assembly

Work Hours: 3rd Shift, 10 pm - 6:15 am, with flexibility as neededDuration: Approximately 6 monthsGeneral Description:

Manufacturing electronic systems. Primary responsibilities include testing and /or assembly of electronic components in the manufacture of systems utilizing hand tools, manual labor, and automated systems. May also include assisting, as needed, in other areas of the manufacturing process.

Certified or able to achieve J Standard/IPC 610 and/or solder certification.

Adhere to and support the culture principles.

Understand and effectively apply work instructions employee has been trained to

Demonstrate job knowledge and follow relevant work instructions

Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to grasp LEAN concepts.

Performs device assembly or product test at expected efficiency and acceptable quality level, and demonstrates a high degree of flexibility and process knowledge.

Willingly accept additional duties and tasks as assigned in a positive manner.

Educational, Physical & Skill Requirements:

H.S Diploma or equivalent

Moderate physical agility

Ability to alternate walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching overhead

Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Capable of performing repetitive motion activities (twisting, pulling, and pushing).

Ability to work with and manipulate small parts and components utilizing a high level of manual dexterity.

Ability to utilize a desktop computer and monitor (test equipment) for extended periods of time

Ability to use a calculator

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Temperature: moderate

Lighting: LED and fluorescent

Noise level: moderate (machines)

Tools used: machine tools, personal computer, hand & power tools, soldering tools
