Carpenter/Remodeler/Helper (Shelburne area)

Looking for a skilled carpenter/remodeler and carpenter helper for remodeling projects mostly around the Shelburne, Charlotte, South Burlington, Williston areas. We are a small remodeling firm that performs primarily custom residential remodeling of bathrooms, kitchens and all sorts of mostly interior renovations. Custom tile work and showers, higher end bathroom remodeling, custom woodwork, drywall work, and exterior decking work. Demolition, surface prep, tile setting, light electrical and plumbing, painting, trim work are all typical work items of the day.

You would be hired as an employee and not a 1099 sub so you would be on payroll, can be paid by direct deposit into your bank account and will be covered by workman's compensation benefits.

We allow for flexible hours to accommodate your family life. We understand, we have families too. As long as you are an excellent communicator with what your personal schedule needs are, we allow almost complete flexibility of your work schedule, and we pay well.

What we need is a skilled carpenter/remodeler. Skills in tile work, carpentry, sheetrock/finishing, demolition, light plumbing and light electrical all a bonus. Heavy lifting (80 lbs) and some ladder work are common so you must be capable. All ages and genders are welcome

Minimum Requirements-

-Have basic carpentry/remodeling hand tools and know how to use them (tape measure, screwdriver, cordless drill/driver, speed square, hammer, pry tools)

-Have your own transportation to get to job sites mostly around southern Chittenden county.

-Must be dependable, trustworthy, respectful and good communicator with co-workers/customers.
