Job Title: Mechanic

Job Type: Full-Time

Hourly: DOE

Full Time: 35-40 Hours per week

Job Summary:

Experience as an automotive mechanic, automotive technician, and electrical diagnostics. Diagnose and repair brakes, o.e. suspension, custom suspension lifts, vehicle air suspensions, 12 volt repair.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license, with a Clean Driving Record.

Must have at least five years of experience as a technician, diesel engine experience a plus.

Must have your own tools.

Shop hours from 9:00am to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Skills and Abilities:

Effective written and verbal communication skills in person, by telephone, in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with clients, vendors, and co-workers.

Ability to read and comprehend technical mechanical manuals, etc.

Perform various diagnostics and troubleshooting on various mechanical and electrical problems.

Good judgement and decision making skills.

Ability to work well with a team or independently.

Physical Demands:

This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and other active movements for long periods of time. Be able to lift and/or move items 75+ pounds.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment can be loud. While performing duties there may be exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts.
