Primary Responsibility:

Assist the Crew Leader (Driver) with each move project and works as a team player to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction. Work may involve moving, storage, and packing services for residential or commercial relocation services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and load supplies and equipment necessary for each job. This includes boxes, wrapping material, tape, wardrobe boxes, dollies, pads, etc.

Load and secure tools and dollies in the truck prior to each job. Unpack at client location and re-pack and secure upon completion, ensuring that nothing is left behind at the job site.

Upon arrival at the job site, assist the driver with backing the truck into the appropriate location to set the ramps to access the property.

Work directly with other team members and the client to clearly identify and understand the scope of the job to ensure customer satisfaction and contract compliance.

Direct any customer questions to the Crew Chief.

Point out any pre-existing damaged items to the customer before moving it and inform the crew Chief of noted damage.

Using moving pads, securely wrap furniture to minimize the risk of damage.

Carefully lift and carry large and small boxes and furniture in/out of client locations.

Assist the driver with the organization of large and small items to fully utilize the truck space available.

Disassemble/reassemble furniture items as needed (securing and labeling all necessary hardware in plastic parts bags.

Replacing and keeping track of company tools and equipment.

Represent the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
