Project Manager Construction (Midland)

Essential Functions:

Ability to assume total responsibility from receipt of the project assignment and signed contract through to completion and final payment

Provide leadership, training, support and direction to subordinates

Effectively schedule subcontractors, subordinates, materials, and equipment to complete all projects on-time and within budget

Ensure that all projects meet the high-quality standards required by our customers and company

Responsible for monitoring profitability of jobs

Management by example with the ability to solve practical problems

Professional aptitude to attend job site meetings and interact with customers, employees, subcontractors, vendors, and project team members

Ensure that strict safety standards are always followed

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum five (5) years project management experience

Five (5) years of experience in commercial and residential construction

Specific experience with establishing performance and delivery criteria for approval by the project owner and company management

Experience in managing projects at or below budget

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage subordinates, subcontractors, craftsman and vendors

Verifiable success at forecasting material, equipment and manpower

Proven communication skills in English is required; Spanish is an asset

Verifiable ability to write reports, business correspondence and be able to read plans

Self-Motivated with the desire to function independently

A passion for quality, timely work within budgeted guidelines

BSC/BA in Engineering, Building Science or relevant field

PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
