We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to serve as the primary point-of-contact for security engineering matters. Typical duties of the include:- Representing security concerns, including supporting SAFe activities; developing the TO System Security Plan (SSP) to cover architecture, profiles, hygiene, compliance, RMF processes; and sustaining A&A Body of Evidence (BOE). SSP addresses security for networking, computing, virtualization, cloud, and enclaves including those with multiple enclaves and differing data protection and classification levels.
- Coordinate security assessments of computing environments and systems to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies. This includes use new and existing tools, processes, and procedures to scan, identify, contain, and remediate vulnerabilities and intrusions; implement trusted interfaces to external systems, monitor, track, and update status of systems in the assessment queue; and ensure uniform application of security policy.
- Ensure thorough review and analyses of relevant event details to assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle. This includes all enclaves and production, test, and development environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of relevent experience
