DescriptionSummary Objective:The Cleaning Team Member is responsible for providing a clean and safe club environment under the management of the Assistant General Manager. The Cleaning Team Member will interact positively with prospects, members, guests, and staff to ensure a positive experience. The Cleaning Team Member is also specifically responsible for cleaning and maintaining the locker rooms throughout scheduled work shifts.Essential Functions:Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every timeEnsure cleanliness and upkeep of all club areas to include entry ways, exits, outdoor areas, men's locker rooms, equipment, and floorsHelp members and guests feel welcome by greeting them and assisting with any needsAssist members with questions, men's lockers, or other issues in a friendly manner, referring issues as neededRead and interpret Safety Data Sheets for personal and patron safetyJob Responsibilities:Clean and maintain club and exercise equipmentProvide all members, guests, and visitors with excellent customer serviceEnsure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentableClean the men's locker rooms and stock all locker room suppliesProcess and fold all laundry to maintain a constant supply of towels in clubsReact promptly and professionally to any issues affecting club cleanliness or safetyReport any equipment or facilities issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or General ManagerMaintain all supplies, products, storage rooms, and laundry room per company and OSHA standardsUse appropriate safety equipment and precautions for handling hazardous materialsAttend all required meetings and trainingsComplete all paperwork as assignedUnderstand and follow employee standards of conduct and ethicsUphold club building, facilities, service, program, and emergency proceduresAssume other duties as assignedWork morning, evening, and weekend shifts as necessaryRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detailAbility to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitudeOutwardly facing professional appearanceConfidence and desire to create new relationships quicklyAbility to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skillsAbility to multitask and work well under pressureBasic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipmentClear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environmentRequired Experience, Education & Certifications:High school diploma or GED preferredSix months commercial For full info follow application link.US FITNESS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.US Fitness is an equal opportunity employer and conducts all hiring and employment practices strictly in accordance with applicable employment discrimination laws and regulations.
