Job Description Coatings Supervisor Williams Industrial Services Group, LLC Role Overview: The Coatings Supervisor is responsible for supervising multiple craft General Foreman/Foreman and ensuring resources are efficiently utilized across multiple work areas. Ensures assigned crews performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets. Monitor actual performance versus planned rates and other metrics as determined by Project Management. Primarily reports to the Project Manager(s) for daily scheduled work priorities, coordination between other disciplines and assigned building tasks. As a Coatings Supervisor, establish technical and site specific prioritization of work activities and craft crew distribution. Coordinates with QC Inspectors to schedule required inspections. Coordinates with Field Engineering and Customer representatives for questions with work plans, design documents, materials, and other work control documents. This position may be assigned to night shift and will require workingResponsibilities: Provides leadership for environmental, safety, health, injury/accident and fire prevention on the project. Drive quality expectations and reinforce workmanship expectations Determine the job responsibilities, accountabilities, and performance expectation of each role in the work group Plan and execute work in a safe manner that meets quality, cost and schedule requirements Explain priorities, goals, and timelines to team members Provides mentoring and coaching to team members Provides performance information on team and individuals Identifies training needs Provide input on ways to improve Provide accurate quantity and schedule tracking to Project Controls Solves difficult and complex work problems Identifies and / or recommends resource requirements Plan and track equipment and consumable needs . Requirements: Must possess legal right to work in US without sponsorship Must be physically capable to conduct field supervision and participate in project walk downs which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing in very small and/or confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of EPC construction programs, technologies, means and methods Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of supervisory functions relating to construction field activities. Intermediate to Advanced supervisory experience of nuclear or non-nuclear construction/maintenance projects.
