Primary Purpose:Cloud Platform engineer will serve as a thought leader, work with a team of individuals who are committed to define and deliver cloud solutions by providing security, reliability, availability, and self-service functions which deliver end-to-end cloud platform needs for product development teams.You'll provide strong technical leadership and guidance in deploying and delivering various Azure services Duties and Responsibilities: Designs, builds, manages, and operate Azure Core Services with automation and infrastructure as codeDesigns, builds, manages, and operates the continuous delivery framework and tools, manages, and automates the lifecycle of the different platform components and help support product teamsFollow team's engineering practices around test driven and continuous delivery of infrastructureIntegrates different components and develop new services with prioritized focus on customer needsEvaluates performance trends and expected changes in demand and capacity; and establish scalability plansIdentifies and troubleshoots availability and performance issues at layers of Azure Services and on-premRecommends and maintains azure policies, governance, cost management guidance and guardrailsCreate and document low-level designs, as built and standards on confluenceCollaborate with Solution architecture, Platform engineering and Product teams for delivering solutionsWork within a project management/agile scrum teams in a leading role as part of a wider teamMaintain and follow Security practices while building and supporting the platform.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field7+ years of IT experience focused on infrastructure which includes server, storage, network, security3+ years of experience building, maintaining, and automating Azure environments in enterprise environments2+ years of experience of with IaC tools (ARM, Terraform, JSON, PowerShell,Hands on experience deploying Azure Enterprise-scale reference architecture and its componentsExperience in Full stack Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, and Application KnowledgeAbility to work in an Extreme Programming environment and work in a paired programming/engineering modelAble to facilitate diverse teams, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet aggressive schedule targetsHands on experience with IaC tools like ADO, ARM, terraform, ansible, PowerShell, python, azcli, githubDesign, configuration, and maintenance of Kubernetes environments using AKSTechnical expertise in Windows/Linux/VMware/Hyper-V/AKS, SQL and N0-SQL DB's, IaaS, PaaS, FaaS, Data, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Identity and ConnectivityWorked in Devops and AgileAt least 4 years of hands-on technical experience supporting the following or related experience:Azure Virtual Network, VWAN, Express route, Load Balancer (L4/L7), Traffic Manager, CDN, Azure DNS, routing & routing protocols like BGP, firewall conceptsAzure Identity including any of the following: Azure AD, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, Azure AD Connect, Password less sign-ins, Microsoft Defender, key vaultAzure Governance, Security, Monitoring, Workbooks, Compliance, and cost awarenessAzure Virtual Machines, Containers and/or Kubernetes and/or OpenShift (infrastructure perspective)Azure Storage Account, Disk, Snapshot, Backup, Site Recovery, file sync, Data LakePreferred Qualifications: Certification in Azure Administrator -required, Azure DevOps -preferred, Azure Solutions Architect -preferred#DICEJOBS#LI-RV1Retail Business Services is an equal opportunity employer.
