We exist to serve our military heroes and their families, whether at home or abroad.A day in the life of a Mechanic IV is never the same but, in this role, you would be expected to be responsible for completing maintenance projects and specialized maintenance needs within assigned area. Ensure compliance with Company safety policies as well as legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations. May be responsible to oversee the day-today activities and workload of associates within the department.What you'll Do:Responsible for completing maintenance projects and specialized maintenance needs within assigned area (i.e., Ammonia, HVAC, ThermoKing, DOT inspections) in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure compliance with Company safety policies as well as legal compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Monitor maintenance spendProvide expert technical knowledge within applicable role. Dismantle, install and repair parts, electrical apparatus, mechanical and/or refrigeration systems and/or components equipment and machinery within assigned areaAssemble and test equipment/systems to ensure correction of necessary repairs and maintenanceEnsure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance recordsMaintain a safe and clean working environmentMaintain current knowledge of regulations and laws within assigned area (i.e., DOT, OSHA, EPA, etc.) to ensure complianceSound Like You? Here's what you'll need:Four (4) years mechanical/machinery/facility maintenance experience as applicable to assigned areaTechnical certification and/or specialize certification within assigned area required (i.e., HVAC, ThermoKing, Ammonia, etc. as applicable to the role)Building Maintenance: Building maintenance experience required; forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment maintenance a plusDriver's License (Required)The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
