Professional-Systems Administrator needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA to Develop solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues using advanced engineering and scientific principles. Design, install, configure, integrate, and maintain Openstack cloud setup. Configure AT&T's customized Openstack environment for tenants' Virtual Network Function deployment. Resolve issues related to Openstack Services, including Heat and Nova Neutron, as well as Virtual Network Function interworking. Perform installations and upgrades to Openstack services and layered software packages, and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Proactively analyze and resolve production problems related to Openstack Services like Nova, Neutron, Heat, Glance, Keystone, and RabitMQ. Perform operations support of OpenStack and Kubernetes cloud that hosts mobility and mobile core (vIMS) Virtual Network Function. Maintain maximum stability, performance, and security for Openstack Cloud environments, which hosts both Virtual Network Functions and application VMs. Monitor and tune the systems to achieve optimum performance levels. Proactively identify and automate day-to-day manual activities. Develop and execute automated scripts to check working of Openstack Services and other Linux based applications like Nagios. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and document the root cause analysis on the relevant incident management systems. Write and review methods of procedure that implement change management requests on Openstack cloud servers. Develop new concepts, methods and techniques for cross-functional initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Electronics and Communications Engineering, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post- baccalaureate experience in installing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining Openstack cloud environment; performance tuning and operations support of Openstack Cloud setup that hosts VoLTE VNFs; and supporting one or more of the following areas: Linux, Cloud Operations, Openstack, Kubernetes, Software Defined Networking, Virtual Network Functions, and/or scripting.Email resume to km7476@att.com, refer to job number 2018094 in email subject.
