Inter City Tire, a regional commercial tire distributor, is seeking a personable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to do billing, process a variety of paperwork, answer phones and generally assist as needed at our Wappingers Falls, NY location.

Duties and Responsibilities include, among other things:

- Creating and updating work orders and closing invoices

- Collecting payment from customers both in the store and over the phone. Payment types may include cash, credit card, Comchecks/EFS Checks, house credit (AR)

- Maintaining the cash drawer, preparing daily deposits and taking the deposits to the bank

- Following up with corporate customers to obtain purchase order numbers.

- Communicate with store personnel to insure accuracy of paperwork, inventory and billing.

- Answering phones, helping callers or directing them to appropriate personnel.

The right candidate must be computer literate, possess strong organizational and communication skills and have a professional and courteous phone personality.
