DESCRIPTION Job summaryThe Time & Attendance Tools team supports solving test problems of optimization, performance, and scalability. Technologies we're testing range from Platform configurations to API and front-end UI solutions. Do you want to write code, as well as test it? Our automation needs are abundant and varied: dive into scenario-based employee data generation and API validation, canary and regression tests, and load test solutions. If you are Customer Obsessed, want to innovate quickly on behalf of customers leveraging Technology, we need to talk. Our mission is to make all Time and Attendance functionalities available at the tip of the Associate hands, so they can focus on the work to serve Amazon customers. A to Z Time team works with multiple stakeholders ranging from HR, Operations, and other internal tech organizations. We are looking for a SDET who is deeply technical, team-first-mentality individual and are willing to commit themselves to our goal to grow the business by 3X in the next 2 years and build out structures to support intelligent, full stack platforms to continue supporting Amazon's global footprint. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years professional experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
  • Experience developing automation in at least one of OO languages - Java, C#/C, Python
  • Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
  • Experience building quality tools and services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role. Experience in UI Automation
  • Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
  • Deal well with ambiguoundefined problems; ability to think abstractly
  • Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
  • Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
