Shall be knowledgeable on the fire alarm system, elevator evacuations, and fire watch procedures. Greets and logs entry of owners and guests. Logs entry and exit of employees. Distributes and collects property keys to employees. Documents incidents, activities, occupancy, and arrivals. Assist owners and guests with lock-out issues. Monitors the parking areas for vehicles that violate Mainsail parking rules. Issues warning tickets and installs the boot when warnings have been ignored.

The CP Staff will patrol areas of the property to include buildings, offices, storage, equipment, mechanical, maintenance rooms, parking lots, swimming pools, and all grounds areas.

The CP Staff will check all BBQ grills and the sauna in the exercise room, every time a patrol is done to be sure that the grills and sauna is turned off.

The beach area will be patrolled only for purposes of safety of individuals and property that may be left on the beach.

The CP Staff will check doors of unoccupied units, storage areas, events center, equipment, and maintenance rooms.

The CP Staff shall be vigilant in protecting the Owners property including but not limited to protecting against unauthorized use of Owners property.

The CP Staff will put the winter covers over the heated pool and hot tub during the months of December, January, February, and March at the time the pool gates are locked at night.

As part of the Mainsail team, the CP Staff will pick up trash on the property and empty elevator ash trays as needed when doing floor patrols in the high rise buildings at night. Luggage carts will be gathered and brought to the ground floor luggage cart storage area.

The CP Staff will enforce all Mainsail Rules and Regulations as established by the Board of Directors. This will be done in a firm, but courteous manner.

The CP Staff will inform the CP Supervisor of all events during the day by means of a Courtesy Patrol Report.

An incident report will be written for accidents, injuries, and theft. All incident reports will be handed over to the General Manager on the first business day after the incident occurs.

The CP Staff will work closely with local law enforcement officials as required, but shall not perform any law enforcement duties. Trespassers shall be questioned and turned over to law enforcement authorities after a warning has been ignored.

In serious cases of theft, fire or injury, the CP Staff will accompany officials as required. The CP Staff will also notify the CP Supervisor and General Manager as soon as possible.

Will perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the CP Supervisor, as required to meet company and departmental objectives.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a minimum of one year experience in Courtesy Patrol or related field.

Requires good sight and hearing. Must be clean and neatly groomed.

Requires that employee be punctual, dependable, and have excellent attendance.
