DASH CAFE SEEKING FRONT COUNTER/BARISTA (Brighton, MA)

Dash Cafe in Brighton, MA is looking for one front counter person to join our team. We are located on 5 Henshaw St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Handle cash and card transactions using Square POS.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout your shift.

Keep front counter area stocked at all times, including dining room and bathroom.

General housekeeping.

Ensure that guests have a good dining/pickup experience.

Learn the menu and be able to help guests with allergy concerns/substitutions.

Make basic coffee and espresso drinks.

Qualifications

Cashier experience strongly preferred.

Basic coffee/barista knowledge preferred.

Flexible schedule (may include Saturdays).

Food experience a big plus.

Good communication skills.

Ability to lift up 50 lbs and stay on your feet for your whole shift.

Willing to train the right candidate who has little to no experience but picks things up quickly.
