Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) Lead on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) line of business. This position will be located in Grand Prairie, TX. Position is responsible for the technical excellence of products and services and to ensure the LSE team achieves all program milestones on time and within budget. Position is responsible for providing program support for proposals and new business initiatives.Candidate will serve as the THAAD Interceptor Services Depot Annex/Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Project Manager providing oversight of all effort required to procure, install, setup, and validate tooling and test equipment required for Stockpile Reliability Testing (SRT) of THAAD interceptors as well as serve as the THAAD Interceptor Services Logistics Data and Information Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.Ensures technical integrity of the functional products through sustainment program phase.Plans, organizes, develops, and integrates program assigned functional efforts.Implements functional processes, methods, and practices on assigned program.Participates in requirements development for Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) scope of work.Participates in technical and programmatic reviews and meetings.Interfaces with customer and program office for area of responsibility.Maintains an understanding of projects supported by assigned personnel.Assists program to understand tasks and skills/experience required to perform tasks.Provides timely communication and interface with functional and program organization.Reports status of technical performance, schedule performance, and budget performance.Participates in technical and programmatic reviews and meetings for subcontractor management related to area of functional responsibility.Facilitate communication of status to the customer and ensure needs are met by effective execution of weekly IPT meetings. Ensure that issues, action items, and customer requests regarding the IPT are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner.The successful candidate will guide and lead a multidisciplinary team. Develop strategic plans to improve supportability, quality, and efficiency of operations. Ensure that issues regarding Depot Annex are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner.Coordinate efforts with multi-disciplined team in multiple sites including: Dallas, Troy, Sunnyvale and Huntsville, and report status to customer.Travel will be required.Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.MFC E&TThe Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:Candidate must have an Interim Secret clearance to start.The ability to lead LSE teams in a Full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) manner and diplomatically exert influence on the business operations of the represented programs.Experience in systems full lifecycle management across multiple Product Support disciplines.Experience in design, implementation, and delivery of sustainment solutions.Control Account Management trained and understanding of earned value management system processes and procedures.Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders with differing goals and objectives across large geographic regions.Ability to apply analytics to understand key process drivers and integrate across teams to drive implementation of solutions (including providing information that enables quick and accurate decision making for execution teams and leadership).Experience leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment with internal and external customers.Highly-motivated individual with operations, logistics and supply chain experience with a continuous improvement mindset.Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion with little supervision.Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. sourcing, receiving, shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers).Excellent organizational, research and problem solving skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Candidate must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed to support program requirements.Desired Skills:Engineering team lead experience in managing Logistics and Sustainment Engineering disciplines in the Sustainment phase of a program.Project management training, experience and successful track record.Experience with IAMD products in general and sustainment of those products specifically.Experience with the THAAD missile.Experience with depot operations sustainment principles.Familiar with depot operations as related to missile systems.Missile Recertification planningSpares planning and managementTooling procurementObsolescence managementExperience working and knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, Statement of Work, Deliverables, etc.Proposal development experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) development.Control Account Manager (CAM) experience.Earned Value Management experience.Risk identification and management experience.Ability to develop positive relationships with suppliers and customers.Strong business acumen.Experience defining strategy.Strong process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization.Familiarity with sustainment products/tools.OASAS Tool experience.Technical degree.Military experience.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
