Inside Sales / Architectural Glass (Plainview)

Innovative and progressive architectural Smart Glass company looking for an experienced and ambitious Sales Associate / Estimator to join our B2B and B2C inside Sales team, who will report to the Director of Architectural Sales. This is a unique opportunity to sell into several industries as part of an inspired team of professionals. We are an industry leader and provider of state-of-the-art dynamic and electronically controlled glass sold in commercial, healthcare and residential applications.

Full-time; Mon.-Fri.

Responsibilities:

Respond to inbound sales calls and internet inquiries

Review customer requirements, drawings and blueprints

Prepare quotations for Architects, Glaziers, Builders, General Contractors and consumers

Interface with Purchasing, Order Entry and Fulfillment to ensure complete customer satisfaction

Should be familiar with Building Materials, Architectural Products, and Technology

Demonstrate our products and make presentations in our showroom and at trade shows

Provide exceptional pre & post sale customer service & support

Research online databases of projects, architects and contractors for new opportunities

Education & Skills:

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Min. 2 years sales experience

All Microsoft Office 365 Programs - (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)

Confidence in selling high ticket items, ability to communicate with C level decision makers, and closing sales

Must be capable of reading blueprints and performing take-offs

Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, self starter

Experience in the architectural glass industry

CAD / mechanical drawing experience is a plus

Experience with architectural metals is a plus

Team Player with a proven track record and strong motivation and drive for sales
