About the Program

Hourglass Community Crisis Center is a program designed to provide 24/7 support to individuals who suffer from mental illness. This Crisis Center will be available 24/7 to accept individuals referred by law enforcement, community providers and individuals themselves for mental health crisis assessment, stabilization, and active linkages to community providers for same-day or next-day follow-up support services.

About the Position

We have a Full-Time opening for a Qualified Mental Health Professional who possess a combination of skills and QMHP credentials to provide clinical services at our Hourglass Community Crisis Center in Eugene, OR. Reports to the program administrator for day-to-day supervision and work assignments.

Work Schedule:

Tuesday - Saturday 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Swing)

In this position, the QMHP provides clinical services and supervision for adults affected by a severe and persistent mental illness in a residential treatment setting. Responsibilities will require the ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of the Residential Associates who provide the 24-hour support services to the clients. Must have the ability to perform a Comprehensive Mental Health Assessment, Assessment Updates and Treatment Plans. The QMHP will also provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers. In addition, direct care staff must be willing and able to successfully complete our Verbal and Physical Intervention (VPI) crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical hands-on maneuvers and techniques.

Qualifications

MUST meet State of Oregon QMHP credentials:

a) Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field; Bachelor's degree in Nursing and be Licensed by the State of Oregon

b) PREFERABLY meets OAR requirement for QMHP by having completed TWO (2) YEARS of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting

Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Pay & Benefits

$23.00-$26.00 per hour/DOE.
