Mederi Center is a nonprofit clinic, research, and educational organization for wholistic health and healing. The mission of Mederi Center is to optimize health and wellness for people of all ages, and to improve the quality of life and outcomes for patients with chronic diseases, cancer, and stress or age-related conditions. Mederi Center serves its mission through patient services, education programs for healthcare providers, and clinical research initiatives, applying a pioneering, 'unitive' model for wholistic, integrative medicine developed by our founder and lead clinician, Donnie Yance. What You’ll Contribute

Our ability to help seriously ill patients experience greater quality of life or even live longer because of the skillful care we provide inspires donors to give to Mederi. This means more people live healthier, longer lives and YOU get to be a part of that! As the Donor Relations Coordinator you play an important and supportive role, making it possible for our organization to nurture more meaningful and long-lasting relationships with the people who help us fulfill our vision for a better and healthier world. What You’ll DoDonor Relations Administration:

Manage Charitable Organization Registration process to ensure non-profit fundraising compliance on a state and national level

Maintain donor CRM system including updating donor records, compiling biographical information, data entry, and pulling reports/queries

Process all incoming donations, prepare and send gift acknowledgement letters signed by ED within 48 hours of receipt of gift to ensure fundraising compliance

Make personal phone call to thank all donors for gifts over $250

Track pledges and monthly recurring gifts to ensure on-time payment

Assist with donor stewardship including special thank you cards, donor appreciation gifts, and other communications via phone and email

Work with ED and Fundraising Consultant to coordinate logistics for fundraising events, donor cultivation events, and annual fundraisers

Coordinate donor mailings, including direct mail appeals

Maintain inventory of updated donor kits

Administer patient aid fund, process applications, facilitate selection of recipients, notify recipients and appropriate funds accordinglyExecutive Office Administration:

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Administrator (EA), ensure all records of company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all departments are kept up to date on a semi-annual basis

Organize and maintain board policies manual and ensure policies are reviewed, approved, updated and signed annually by the ED

Prepare and distribute various month end reports

Assist with special projects as needed General Office Administration:

Assist Executive Administrator with administrative projects as needed

Assist Practice Manager with special projects to increase operational efficiencies in the clinic

Update Constant Contact with new donor, practitioner, and patient information

Maintain practitioner contact referral list for Mederi practitioners and patientsQualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the nonprofit field, preferably in fundraising

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

Exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette

Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills

Professional, compassionate and gracious demeanor

Highly organized and acute attention to detail

Critical thinking and analytical skills

Database management skills preferred

Event coordination skills

Able to multi-task and meet deadlines

Comfortable working independently and in a team environment

Passionate about health and well-being
