Artisan Food Production Assistant (MADISON)

The Quince and Apple Company, a small-batch food producer, is hiring to grow our small, collaborative production team. We make all our products by hand here in our near-downtown kitchen. This position will assist the current production team as needed with labeling product, cleaning, shipping, and aspects of production including filling jars and prepping produce. We make preserves, syrups, candy and candied nuts, as well as deliver and ship product locally and across the country.

We’re looking for:

Commercial kitchen experience and interest in food

A positive and friendly attitude, able to collaborate and communicate with your team

Someone who enjoys physical work and repetitive tasks

Physical strength, comfort with hot environments and okay with repeated heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Strong values, including taking health and safety seriously and doing the right thing

Job details:

40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 9-5

$12-14/hr based on experience plus paid time off starting at 3 months

In addition to PTO, sick days are fully covered
