Hiring Cooks, Cashiers & Support Staff (Friendship)

Wallace’s Market in Beautiful downtown Friendship Is Now Hiring Multiple Positions! Full Time & Flexible Part Time Shifts Available. We have openings As a Cashier, Cook, and Support Staff.

Cashier - The Front Lines, you will handle cash, interact with customers, take orders, enforce Covid19 policies, stock, clean, make coffee, make deliveries and many other duties.

Shifts: Full Time & Part Time, 5am-1pm & 1pm-8pm-ish shifts available

Requirements: Must be able to Stand for 8 hours, must be able to lift to 25 pounds, and have excellent customer service skills. Previous Experience Helpful but not required. Must be 21+ and Have a Valid Driver’s License. Good Reading & writing Skills, as well as the ability to do basic mental math are also required.

Cook – Your job will include anything from taking orders, slicing meats, cooking pizzas, grilling burgers, washing dishes, making deliveries, stocking, running the register, enforcing covid19 and many more duties.

Shifts: Full & Part Time, 5am – 1pm, 1pm – 8:pm-ish

Requirements: Must Be Able to Stand for 8 hours, move quickly & often, lift to 25 pounds. Home or Professional Cooking experience required. Must be 21+ and Have a Valid Driver’s License. Good Reading & writing Skills, as well as the ability to do basic mental math are also required.

Support Staff – A Great Part – time or first Job, you will be here to help other staff members. Answer Phones, take orders, stock shelves, clean, help cook, make deliveries, TCB.

Shifts: Part Time, Flexible Shifts, anywhere from 3-6 hours, depending on availability, morning, afternoon & night shifts are all options.

Requirements: Must Be able to stand for 6 hours and lift 25-40 pounds. Must be 18+ and have a valid drivers license. Good Personal Skills, Math Skills, and penmanship are all pluses. Good Reading & writing Skills, as well as the ability to do basic mental math are also required.

Pay & Benefits – All Positions Start at $11 an Hour and Move up to $12 an Hour after 30-day probation. Benefits Include Staff Meal, Employee Discount, and after 30-day probation; Paid Sick Leave, Limited Paid Vacation & Tips.

Covid19 Precautions: Here in Friendship, we lack medical infrastructure & have an aging population. In an Effort to Keep Friendship Healthy, we have instituted comprehensive precautions against corona virus. All Employees & Customers must wear masks at all time. All peoples entering the front door must sanitize their hands. We are doing curbside & delivery and are wearing gloves at all times. If you do not think you can handle that, this is not the job for you.
