THE LEANING PEAR hiring PT/FT for Line Cook & Dishwashers (Wimberley, Texas)

The Leaning Pear, a destination restaurant located in idyllic Wimberley, TX, is seeking a qualified Line Cook and dishwasher to join our hard working crew. Experience is valuable but not as much as a good work ethic. No egos or bad attitudes. Must be able to work quickly, cleanly and possess good organizational skills. We are looking for candidates that show leadership potential, creativity and the ability to communicate well with others. Other desirable attributes and qualifications:

- Wood Fired Oven experience

- Brunch/Egg Cookery experience

- Gardening Experience

- Charcuterie experience

- Broad culinary knowledge combined with creativity that manifests itself into tasty daily specials and productive dialog/brainstorming with co-workers.

-Ability to produce in a fast paced environment.

-Ability to maintain grace under fire

-Knowledge of seasonality, artisanal food methods.

Compensation is very competitive and based on experience. Paid vacation available after 12 months as well as monthly cookbook/equipment allowance and weekly tip-outs.
