This is temporary summer position.Responsibilities:

Assist the BSSP (Business Scholars Summer Program) Program Coordinator with ensuring the Bridge student success and completion of post-secondary admission requirements (housing, financial aid, etc.).

Provide continuous academic support, help teach self-advocacy skills and help students understand post-secondary requirements; Act as a liaison with the PVAMU Faculty providing college instruction.

Promote the educational aspirations and performance of Bridge students by modelling excellent college-going attitudes, habits and skills.

Collaborate with assistant deans on planning and implementation of student services programs for the 2020-2021 academic year; attend meetings and events related to assignments.

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent.

No prior work experience required.
