If you want to help tell compelling, enduring stories through movies, music or stage plays, then we want to hear from you.The Manager, Health & Safety will ensure that COVID-19 protocols are implemented across Post Production, VFX, Finishing and Scoring. The Manager, Health & Safety will report to Studios Operations with dotted line to Risk Management. This is a 12 month Project Hire.
Lead COVID-19 health and safety planning in the workplace according to local law and Disney protocols
Determine requirements needed for vendors to comply with local law and Disney protocols
Evaluate 3rd party vendor practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to local law and Disney protocols
Partner with 3rd party vendors on the correction of any deviation on their Health & Safety protocols
Audit 3rd party vendors on their Health & Safety Protocols to see that all applicable protocols are complied with
Collaborate with internal Disney partners and train for auditing vendor health/safety concerns
Advise on best practices on health and safety related to COVID-19
Ensure required health compliance training for crew as applicable
Enforce Studio policies and protocols in conjunction with leaders
Provide reports to leaders regarding concerns, violations, and compliance
Ensure health and safety protocols are in place for screenings, mixes, reviews and scoring sessions
Manage supplies for cleaning and disinfecting as applicable
Stay current on new developments in health and safety to improve quality and efficacy of production processes
SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience working on a feature or television production
Ability to adapt to varying work environments, possesses a strong pro-active work ethic and quickly adapt to new responsibilities
Ability to work well in a team environment
Good oral and written communication skills
Proven strong organizational skills including logistics, time management and scheduling
Must be a people person who can manage with confidence, maintain policy/protocol with crew, and operate with authority when needed
Must be comfortable speaking to groups and providing training
Highly creative and driven to problem solve
Have a willingness to travel and keep a flexible schedule (work on a production schedule)
TECHNICAL SKILLS DESIRED
Basic knowledge of safety and health standards and regulations
Basic knowledge on auditing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Desire to continue development of technical skills and industry knowledge
