Attorney - civil litigation, insurance defense + coverage PT/FT

Our established, defense, boutique commercial and insurance defense law practice, seeks an experienced litigator, to provide case development and trial preparation services for senior attorneys. The successful candidate will have practiced law in the relevant area, including federal and state court civil litigation, for several years. The successful candidate will have a very good academic record, and will have demonstrated the ability to determine, comprehend, and to articulate to others, procedure, law, and facts, that combine to winning strategies, and to execute those strategies reliably, on schedule, and on budget. Our clients require and deserve prompt, comprehensive, economical, and highly skilled legal solutions. Admission to practice in LA a must, some other states are a plus. New law school graduates are not appropriate candidates. Please apply with your resume and a five page writing sample or excerpt. Our job can be part time, 20+ hours per week, 5 days a week, working from our offices. Depending on skill set, the position could become full time with benefits in fairly short order, but does not need to if the applicant prefers part time only. Initial salary will be hourly, depending on skills and efficiency, for billable hours.
