Krypton™ light disinfection provides the first human and animal safe, practical and effective countermeasure for infectious disease and pathogens in occupied spaces. Far UV Technologies (www.faruv.com) is hiring a part or full time experienced electrician to help install our innovations in applications ranging from medical and dental clinics to military bases, elderly care facilities, schools, offices, elevators, professional sporting facilities, grocery stores, hotels, buses, airports, restaurants and more. Experience in commercial lighting wiring and installation is required. You will be expected to work independently in this position and be able to trouble shoot, install new circuits, lights and lighting boxes with minimal to no disruption to the finishes.
Job Duties:
Install Krypton Disinfection Lighting Devices (resembling hard wired smoke detectors)
Provide customer support for external electricians, installers and distributors
Respond to Service Calls and Diagnose Issues
Make Corrections and Fix Problems
Troubleshoot Faults, Short Circuits and Inoperable Devices and Equipment
Fish Wire in Closed Access and Limited Access Situations
Understand NEC Codes and Standards
Experience Installing Electrical Services
AFCI Troubleshooting Experience
Construction Experience Preferred
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
3-5+ Years Commercial Experience
Knowledge of NEC Codes
Clean Driving Record
Basic Hand Tools
Must be able to pass background check
