This team acts as a center of excellence for IT delivery processes. It is responsible for designing end to end IT delivery processes that tie together disparate ones, speed throughput and boost transparency. The team fosters process adoption in collaboration with users through training and continuous improvement. It drives innovation leveraging a common technology platform, ServiceNow. Finally, it integrates process and financial insights into a central IT Business Management advisory capability.This role serves as the process owner for project Ideation and investment governance. The role will be responsible for delivering expected outcomes across matrixed team within IT Process and Reporting and beyond.Detailed Position Responsibilities:Provide best in class portfolio investment governance through.Standards : Process & tools for collecting and evaluating ideasConsulting : Maturity & Consistency of tracking where we are investingKnowledge : Actionable Insights & Predictive Analytics​

Partner with key stakeholders like the plan organization (business partners), PMO organization & Finance organization to increase adoption and stabilization of investment capabilities through training and change management.

Establish and own the process to collect and evaluate "ideas" over the course of a year to assess which will become projects. Support the yearly budget & projection processes by coordinating across various partnering organizations.

Partner with colleagues in IT Operations to advance end to end portfolio governance (from idea, through demand, fulfilment and operate to retire) looking to integrate, streamline, improve user experience, clarify roles and draw valuable insights.

Leverage project financial and operational insights to advise decision making and identify improvement opportunities; including the management of carryover spend from year to year with associated prioritization decisions.

Prepare and deliver regular portfolio summary updates to the organization.

Desired Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Management, or related field

Minimum of five years of experience; Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry experience is preferred

Strong portfolio management experience with proven track-record of leading cross-functional IT/Business transformation programs preferably in life sciences industry

Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority, managing stakeholder expectations at all levels in a matrixed global environment while maximizing business value delivered

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with employees and management at all levels

Demonstrated ability to use structured problem solving and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root causes, create action plans, assess impact and develop resolution options

Strong facilitation and meeting management skills; Strong communicator via all media: collaboration technologies (SharePoint, Skype, Teams, etc.) and presentations written, emails, verbal - with a wide variety of audiences

Builds trusting relationships with teams and/or leaders and 3rd party providers that enable seamless working relationships and drives high performance and collaboration

Resolves conflicts in a mature manner and acts with integrity to develop credibility

Manages multiple sometimes conflicting priorities, challenges the status quo, and exercises diplomacy all while maintaining a high comfort level for ambiguity

Action oriented and demonstrates accountability for results

Demonstrates strong analytical skills, process knowledge and lateral thinking
