Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to support the design and build out of AWS GovCloud based Engineering Environments and Software Factories. For more information, click here. Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the security authorization of projects.
  • Develop security services, architecture, supporting elements, best practices, and governance for cloud tenants.
  • Evaluate solutions and architectures for security impacts.
  • Oversee Threat Modelling and Security Risk Assessments to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security risks.
These positions may allow telecommuting. (Hybrid) However, the selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry or other technical degree
  • At least 7 years of experience of with AWS
  • Experience with cloud service architecture and security
  • Experience with Information Systems Architecture
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • AWS Certification
  • Security Experience such as RMF or DFARS Compliance (NIST SP800-171)
  • Knowledge or experience with DevSecOps Concepts
  • Security Information Event Management (SIEM) experience
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Containers
  • Possess CISSP or CCSP Certification
Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
