Job Opening: Home Care Nursing Job - RN or LPN Branch: Tonawanda, NY (Buffalo)Location: client in Getzville NYRates: Premium rate range of $28/hour to $33/hourAvailable Shifts:

-Friday Overnights - 10 pm to 6 am

-Every Other Saturday - Overnights - 10pm to 6am

Per NYS DOH mandate, all home care agency staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID, unless they have a medical exemption from their doctor. Boosters encouraged.

Provide nursing care (private-insurance) for a quadriplegic, non-vent client in the heart of Getzville NY. Duties include personal care including bowel regimen, transfer with Hoyer, extensive turning & positioning, and medication pre-pours. Adult client is self-directing, alert, and oriented. Has family support and CareGivers only provides overnight shifts, family takes over at 6am. Pleasant working conditions.

-Must be a LPN or RN currently licensed to practice in New York State, with at least six months experience as a LPN or RN and/or competent in knowledge and skills based on successful completion of the pre-employment nursing test and demonstration of skills.

-Must be competent in all skills required on assignment following case orientation and on the job training.

-Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required.

-Must have reliable transportation.

-This position requires the completion of health examination and required tests/immunizations and the completion of annual health assessment thereafter to certify that the incumbent is free of communicable disease and physically capable of performing assigned duty.
