Developer Marketing is responsible for defining the go-to-market strategy and messaging for developers, developing and managing content for developers, planning and execution of developer events and digital programs, creation of developer stories, managing Oracle’s developer communities and advocate programs, managing communication channels with developers, and driving Oracle Cloud Free Tier.Position OverviewThis is an exciting, high impact position focused on driving developer awareness, education and adoption of Oracle Cloud by proactively managing the creation of technical, “how-to” content for common developer use cases. Technical “how-to” content comes in many forms (i.e., blogs, articles, tutorials, training, videos, demos, presentations, getting started guides, sample code, HOLs), spans multiple technologies (i.e., programming languages, databases, containers and cloud native, microservices, DevOps, open source, low code), is created by many different people (i.e., evangelists, product management, product development, documentation, Oracle University, sales engineers, cloud architects, external advocates and community members) and resides in many places (i.e., developer.oracle.com, product documentation, blogs.oracle.com/developers, youtube.com/oracledevs, GitHub, OCI Console).This position will be the “content czar” who establishes and manages the forward roadmap of developer content by identifying and prioritizing what is missing or in need of updates, and then working with multiple people and organizations to fill those gaps. This position will create and maintain editorial calendars for developer tutorials, blogs, videos and other content types, and program manage other content creators.This position requires broad and deep technical knowledge across developers’ needs and Oracle’s entire portfolio for developers, outstanding developer engagement skills, and collaboration with many organizations within Oracle.We are looking for an exceptional Technical Developer Marketing Manager with experience in developer engagement, developer evangelism, developer advocacy, developer relations and/or developer community. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency with cloud infrastructure and cloud platforms; a deep understanding of developers, developer technologies and app dev trends; strong content creation capabilities; and excellent written and verbal communications.Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, strategy and direction for technical developer content

Build and manage programs to create technical developer content to drive awareness, education and adoption of Oracle Cloud

Identify top technical developer use cases and content requirements at a granular level

Build, assess and maintain inventory of technical developer content assets

Establish the forward roadmap for developer content creation by identifying and prioritizing what is needed and then working with multiple content creators inside and outside of Oracle to fill gaps

Create and maintain editorial calendars for tutorials, blogs, videos and other content types

Collaborate with multiple internal teams at a large corporation

Attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsMinimum of 4 years experience in developer engagement, developer advocacy, developer evangelism, developer relations, developer community, technical marketing or technical product marketing

Expertise in developer technologies and cloud services

Ability to think strategically with tactical execution

Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner

Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Results driven and thrives in an agile, collaborative environment

Bachelor’s degree in technical, business, marketing or related field
