First Javelin – Trucking & Logistics esta buscando emplear despachadores de operaciones remotas, el cual esten altamente familiarizados con Less than Load(LTL) reservaciones de carga incluyendo experiencia coordinando camioneros licenciados. Destrezas adicionales:

Realizar diversas tareas con diferentes sistemas e instrumentos (basados en conocimiento, reuniones de equipo, supervisor) y aplica información y conocimiento a las relaciones con el cliente/agente.

Demostrar experiencia como coordinador de despacho LTL, habilidad para usar una computadora para la búsqueda de información por largos periodos de tiempo y comunicarse con los supervisores regularmente.

Conocimiento en operaciones de rutas comerciales y destrezas en manejar requisitos de transportes interestatales conforme a peso y clase para asegurar que la compañía se mantenga en cumplimiento con los requisitos de los diferentes estados basados en regulaciones federales. Mantener registros requeridos para el cumplimiento de reglas estatales y federales.

Habilidad para leer, escribir, calcular matemática básica, manejar recibos electrónicos, comprender/leer direcciones y comunicarse con la gerencia y clientes a un alto nivel de profesionalismo.

Over the Road (OTR) Dispatchers are the backbone of our logistical operations support and sustainment structure, providing advanced mobility solutions to our customers.

We offer all-inclusive services for getting time-sensitive materials to their destinations on time. We transport commercial goods, appliances, heavy equipment, special cargo, automotive, distribution & warehouse cargo solutions across local and interstate routes. We are fully insured and registered with the State of Georgia. Our areas of focus include the South East and South West US Regions

Qualifications

Has experience in LTL load booking systems, portals, and working networks of brokers to acquire loads.

Has an acceptable record of past experience in coordinating directly with over the road drivers ensuring strict time sensitive delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

Effectively work to build strong relationships with customers and brokers to create lucrative relationships that result in their trust and promotion of our service brand. Set clear expectations by providing accurate information and effective communication.

Acts as a competitive expert to compare the benefits of our service over the alternative solutions from our competition.

Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and log work/rest periods and miles driven by over the road operators. Collect and verify delivery instructions.

Some weekend work will be required, though strictly based on your ability to set standards and expectations within your assigned regional area of operations.

Skills

Multitasks between multiple tools and systems (knowledge base, team meetings, supervisor) and applies information and knowledge to customer/broker relations.

Proven work experience as an LTL dispatch coordinator, ability to use a computer to research for long hours and regularly communicate with supervisors.

Knowledge of commercial over the road operations and skills maneuvering interstate trucking requirements by weight and class ensuring the company remains compliant within differing state requirements based on federal regulation. Maintain records required to be compliant under State and Federal regulations.

Ability to read, write, calculate simple math, handle electronic receipts, and comprehend/read directions and communicate with management and customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Candidates must speak English.
