Farm help needed PT (Lompoc)

We have a small farm halfway between Lompoc and Buellton. We raise sheep, goats, a few cows (meat and dairy), pigs, rabbits, chickens and ducks for meat, eggs and milk. Our goal is to raise happy, well cared for animals for local restaurants and the community.

We need help in the mornings with feeding (1-2hrs) M-F and help with occasional projects (cleaning pens, building new pens, gardening, butchering etc).

10-15hrs per week, starting at $12/hr, once youve proven yourself reliable, observant and a hard worker we can pay more.

—You must speak SOME english (deberias hablar ingles) Nosotros no sabemos mucho español

—You CANNOT be squeamish, our daily lives involve a lot of poop, pee, snot, blood and other fun bodily fluids. This is a working farm NOT a petting zoo.

—You must be able to lift 50 lbs (a bag of feed) to 120 lbs (a bale of hay)

—You must be able to commit to a few hours in the morning 5 days a week and maybe extra time on the weekends. The animals will be relying on you.

—You must have a reliable vehicle

—You must have a knowledge of animals, we can teach you a lot but being comfortable around animals (large and small) is a MUST
