The General Office Clerk will perform various administrative support tasks, including operating office equipment and completing general clerical work for a company in the Construction/Contractor field. Offer help with front desk and receptionist duties

Receive and place telephone calls as needed

Handle support of diverse projects for other employees as necessary

Data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing

Demonstrate command of prescribed style and format when drafting correspondence

Meet customers in a friendly manner

Provide accurate, friendly customer service without delay

Requirements

Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

1+ years of Office Clerk experience recommended

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent

Knowledge of data entry

Demonstrated knowledge of MS Outlook

Filing experience

Experience with Microsoft Excel

Back office support experience

Adeptness in Microsoft Word

navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience

Proficient in handling office equipment

Word and Excel experience is desired
