Assistant Kitchen Manager - Downtown Nitty Gritty (Downtown Madison)

The Nitty Gritty Restaurant Group is looking for an Assistant Kitchen Manager to oversee, supervise and develop all aspects of kitchen operations for our Downtown Madison location. If you like working in an upbeat, fast-paced operation, this could be the job for you! The ideal individual will have previous experience working on a kitchen line in addition to prep cooking and food preparation.

The Nitty Gritty is a high-volume, dynamic operation with three locations in vibrant Dane County. Having a great history as a successful family business for 50 years, we are an established restaurant with a great reputation. The Assistant Kitchen Manager role is a full-time position with a benefits package including: paid vacation time and training, 401k plan, co-pays on health and dental insurance (enrollment after 90 days), food plan, and potential for disability and long-term insurance. Work schedule consists of days, nights and weekends dependent on peak times and events schedule. Previous experience will be heavily considered.
