Construction/Restoration Estimator (Leadville)

Job Duties:
Handle all tasks needed to provide an accurate, detailed, and profitable estimate.
Complete on-site inspections to sketch projects, prepare scopes, and take photos
Follow RFP instruction and attend pre-bid meetings
Interpret construction plans and documents for bidding purposes.
Recognize and address constructability issues
Sell work to customers and keep open line of communication,
Coordinate clean hand-off to Project Managers
Work with insurance adjusters to reach agreed cost-of-repairs
Monitor the status of the multiple jobs
Produce Change orders and associated pricing as needed
Check final accounting and assess profitability of projects.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Strong work ethic
Knowledge of residential and light commercial construction and restoration practices
Understanding of CSI MasterFormat divisions of construction
Capable of multi-tasking but able to prioritize tasks when needed.
Keen attention to detail

Ideal Qualifications
Experience using Xactimate estimating software
CAD/Drafting skills
College Education
Experience:
Three years of industry related experience.
Two years estimating experience
