Job Description
Lab Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:·Help with glassware cleaning, set-up, and media preparation
·Keep work area clean and organized
·Prepare reagents
·Dispose of wastes in approved manner
·Re-supply chemicals for laboratory areas
·Assist in incident prevention
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:·Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
·Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
·Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:·High school diploma or equivalent
·Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 7a.m.-3:30p.m.,with overtime as needed. Training will be Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply.
