What you will do: As the Transaction Management Analyst, you will assist the Transaction Manager with all real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including qualitatively and quantitatively evaluating deals to ensure execution of critical milestones, as well as internal updates of transaction progress. You will be responsible for embodying and working to reinforce Olive Tree and The Life Properties’ Core Values.What your day to day will look like:

Coordinate all aspects of acquisitions, sales and refinancings from the letter of intent stage through closing

Assist the Transaction Manager with communications/requests from third parties and consultants, including attorneys, lenders, sellers, buyers and vendors

Assist with pre-planning and on-site coordination of due diligence and onsite management as part of the due diligence process

Review title, survey, zoning and service contracts, among other things, for prospective purchases and liaise with attorneys and in-house counsel regarding same

Collect, analyze, compile and manage as well as deliver due diligence data reports, presentations and evaluations to the Transaction Manager

Assist with global communication on all acquisition activities, dates, and updates

Coordinate onsite takeover at deal closing and ensure utilities, accounts, and technology are transferred and operational

Support onsite operational management efforts at closing

Participate in potential sales/refi tours with lenders and brokers

Assist with reviewing loan documents and write loan summaries and abstracts, and review other materials

Manage transactions to timely completion and file all required documentation and paperwork

Execute process improvements and business initiatives under the direction of the Transaction Manager

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required in any field; finance/real estate preferred

1+ years of real estate experience in transactions management or corporate real estate

High proficiency with technological tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat; experience with Smartsheet a plus

Experience in contract management

Required financial knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to conduct advanced financial analysis

Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents and to solve problems involving several options and situations

Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills

Comfort with learning and integrating innovative technological tools (the firm strongly encourages experimenting with new software platforms)

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to travel at any time on short notice

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Environmental requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
