Low Voltage Technician (Fayetteville, NC)

Job Summary

Optimum Fire & Security is seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and desire to grow in the fire alarm industry. Optimum Fire & Security primarily serves the Eastern sections of North and South Carolina; applicants will be considered from multiple geographic areas throughout both states. Your daily routine would be pulling wire and installing devices in a new construction atmosphere.

Responsibilities and Duties

Low Voltage Technician: Responsible for the installation of electronic life safety systems, security and CCTV

- Read, Understand and Apply Blueprints

- Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements

- Conduit skills are a plus and will reflect in pay

- NICET is a plus and will reflect in pay

- Familiarity of commercial facilities as it regards fire protection

- Ability to work without direct supervision is a plus and will reflect in pay

- Ability to use a multimeter and other common tools of the trade

- Ability to climb ladders, operate aerial lift platforms

- Ability to pull, secure and terminate wire.

Qualifications and Skills

- NICET certification is a plus
