CSC in Wilmington, DE IT Asset Manager (Laptops/ Mobile Phones, and Software Licenses) Onsite The role of the Asset Management Specialist is to coordinate and execute the ongoing tracking of technology-related, end-user assets, including hardware and software. The function is the execution of the life-cycle management of Enterprise Technology (ET) standardized end-user technology assets throughout the organization. The Asset Management Specialist will work with all departments that are involved in the procurement, deployment, management, and expense reporting of ET end-user assets, utilizing standardized integrated software solutions. Primary responsibilities

• End-to-end procurement process for ET standard end-user hardware and software.
• Manage and track ET standard end-user hardware and software product lifecycle.
• Animate and coordinate the asset management process and activities across regions with identified local resources.
• Obtain competitive pricing options through our preferred vendors.
• Work with mobile carriers to procure devices and mobile data plans, both domestic and international.
• Enter asset data such as hardware serial numbers or identification tags into configuration management database (CMDB) and ensure information is up-to-date, accurate, and auditable.
• Maintain and monitor hardware/software inventory database to ensure compliance and perform reconciliation as necessary.
• Collaborate to capture and centralize required asset-related artifacts as well as configuration items.
• Identify customization of asset management software where needed, based on operational requirements.
• Generate reports for analysis and cost controls.
• Create, execute, and manage an inventory audit per BU-defined frequency.
• Explore opportunities for improving the utility of unused or partially used end-user technology assets to achieve full efficiency and return on investment from assets.
• Investigate and lead the resolution of discrepancies and accuracy issues of the CMDB.
• Gather inventory and usage monitoring of all ET assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support.
• Generate, distribute, and review relevant management reports.
• Co-ordinate asset disposal activities.
