Position Summary:

Line cooks assist with food preparation, follow recipes, maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment, and possess a growth mentality. An ideal candidate focuses on service, education, and a positive kitchen culture based on trust and respect. Gather and 3128 Social House are teaching kitchens. Learning and growth are a high priority amongst our team. Learning and growth are a high priority amongst our team.

Qualifications:

Preferred, but not required, two years experience in a professional kitchen.

Interested in sourcing locally and seasonally.

Possess strong knife skills.

Knowledgeable about proper cooking techniques and temperatures.

Ability t effectively work any station in the kitchen.

Possesses a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and take direction.

Self-motivated, positive demeanor, punctual, strong multitasking skills.

Must be willing to work occasional holidays, nights, and weekends.

Line Cook Requirements:

Must have their own knife and took kit.

Possess valid Food Handlers Certificate for the State of New Mexico.

Compensation / Perks:

Competitive Hourly Wage and occasional gratuities. Pay rate is determined upon experience.
