maintenance technician/ Maintenance Mechanic

They have no one doing any facilities maintenance, so someone to help fix air compressors, electrical,, plumbing issues.At least 1-3 years of experience all maintenance including mechanics and some electrical.Must have experience working in a food manufacturing company.Experience with control systems (PLC's, HMI's)Demonstrated ability to methodically analyze and correct problems of a varied nature on a wide range of equipment and support systems required.Physical requirements include continuously lifting weights up to 35 lbs., frequently lift 50-75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76-100 lbs.

Develop, implement and maintain PM and troubleshooting programs for plant equipment

Contribute effectively in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environment.

Diagnose problems and make appropriate mechanical adjustments to filling machines, processing and milling equipment, and associated support equipment.

In support of a High-Performance work environment, identify and resolve process issues and continuous improvement opportunities with cross functional teams.

Lubricate automatic fillers, air compressors, boilers, air conditioners, processing, support, and service equipment.

Properly check out all parts from stock room. Maintain proper storage of shop materials and keep maintenance area clean and organized.

Assist Plant Engineering and/or Maintenance Manager in installations and capital projects.

Read blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings, as well as compose proper parts to repair and/or overhaul equipment.

Perform routine building maintenance.

Document all work performed in log or equipment database (CMMS).

Make routine, simple electrical repairs.

Fabricate component parts as required

Perform work in other departments as assigned

Repairs and/or overhauls in-plant equipment
