The most important qualifications are honesty, reliability, discretion, and compatibility because of the personal nature of the work. This is not a basic companion position caregiving requires moderate physical effort, so caregiver must be reasonably healthy with great attitude.

The essential caregiving activities include but are not limited to:

Perform light housework

Meal preparation and planning

Run errands as needed

Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing & grooming)

Companionship and conversation

Travel with client to Doctor Appointments (if needed to but not always)

- Have at least one year of experience caregiving (home health agency, hospital, hospice, or long-term care facility).

- Background check will be performed

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must be a certified PCA, Or certified CNA

- Must have CPR & First Aid certification

- Must have an TB Skin test & Physical
