Artist / Detail Painter / Finisher wanted for immediate hire for restoration work on historic wood elements such as; window sashes, doors, shutters, railings and other architectural features. This position is for in-shop skilled work at our facility and does not generally require work on job sites.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have previous experience working with wood window sashes, cabinets, wood railings, doors, shutters, millwork installations, etc. Skills required include the glazing and painting of wood window sashes and the stripping, sanding and preparation of wood surfaces for finishing.
Must be conscientious, responsible, organized, and able to work unsupervised for most tasks .
Job is contract based, regular hours, 40 hour work week, with pay rate commensurate with experience and ability.
