Direct Care Staff Supervisor (Pocatello)

Community Connections, Inc. is Idaho's premier agency serving adults with developmental disabilities, and are seeking an experienced, motivated and caring Direct Care Staff Supervisor to work out of our Pocatello office.

Supervisors are responsible for supporting Direct care staff working in participant homes or job coaching at a job site, providing Participant Training, paperwork oversight, staff scheduling, behavior management, quality assurance and New Employee Orientation training, etc. Our goal is to ensure we work together as a team to assist participants in achieving maximum independence.

It is preferred (but not required) that supervisors have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including Behavior Modification; a four-year bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Health or another human service field is a huge plus. Supervisors must be at least 18 years of age, be willing to participate in an on-call rotation, have a valid driver's license, current car insurance, your own reliable transportation and able to pass a new Criminal History Background Check. Current CPR / 1st Aid and 'Assistance with Medications' certifications are also a plus (but not required to apply).
