Registered Dental Hygienist (Pella, IA)

Pella Family Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to fill a part time to full time position. We are a fast paced, team oriented, enthusiastic dental office looking for a hygienist to join our team. Requirements of the job involve complete medical history assessment, adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy and maintenance. Other tasks include periodontal assessment and restorative charting with a computerized system (Softdent software experience preferred), routine oral cancer screenings (experience with Velscope is preferred), patient education, placement of dental sealants and application of fluoride varnish, exposure of digital radiographs (Carestream) and capturing intra-oral cameras images involved with patient education or restorative treatment planning. Hygienist must also prove licensure for dental hygiene in the state of Iowa, CPR certification in accordance with the American Heart Association, local anesthetic and nitrous oxide administration.
