Senior eCommerce Developer

Job Description

We have have seen tremendous growth on Spanx.com and are looking for talented developers with experience working on modern Magento 2 Commerce platforms.

• Develop new features and bug fixes to enhance the quality of our customer experience on Spanx.com
• Collaborate with developers and help build an effective and motivated team
• Train junior and mid-level developers on coding standards and best practices
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC
• Keep up with the latest industry technologies and best practices
• Help drive value to the business through the use of technology
• Participate and lead code review to ensure quality and security standards

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years in scalable ecommerce and omni-channel environments centered around technology enablement and transformation
• 2 years of full-stack development experience with Magento 2 Commerce Edition, PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS
• 3 years of experience with Linux, Apache and MySQL
• RabbitMQ experience with Magento 2 is a plus
• 1+ years as a team lead with 2 or more team members
• Experience leading Scrum teams is a plus
• Experience with APM and related tools
• Proficient in object oriented programming and the Magento 2 architecture
• Proficient with cross-browser compatibility and cross-platform testing
• Savvy with Git
• Experience with CI/CD implementations is a plus
• Passion for innovation, continuous improvement and evolution
• Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
