Issue Purchase Orders to vendors as soon as possible after placement of sales order (and AutoScheduler message

Research and process orders

Process purchase orders

Update the tracking system for all products

Obtain quotes for components and services as directed by Inside Sales Representatives and Customer Care

Responsible for annual and on-going price negotiations in support of product line costs control strategies

Communicate and resolve material non-conformances with suppliers as required

Resolve any issues involving payable Accounts

Prepare monthly open PO reports for SOX requirement

Coordinate documentation requirements for receiving in (inventory) drop shipments

Work with vendors to improve lead times

Qualifications:

4-6 years of related purchasing experience required

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Purchasing, order processing, or purchase order experience (required)

Manufacturing, Aerospace or Medical Device background preferred
