Facilities Technician

We are seeking Facilities Technician that understands the basics of troubleshooting equipment.Responsibilities:

Provide prompt and effective facilities support in the areas of routine maintenance, carpentry, light electrical, painting, plumbing, and preventative maintenance

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

Provide support in assessing and repairing all potential safety hazards.

Perform preventative maintenance on facilities equipment.

Must be able to safely use standard hand tools, hand power tools including drill motors and skill saws.

Qualifications:

Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical and/or Electrical field

2 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field

Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards

Project Management experience

Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions
